Understanding your analytics: views, visitors and clicks
Analytics can feel like noise. This guide explains the metrics LinkHub tracks and how to act on them.
Page views vs. unique visitors
A page view is counted every time your page loads. A unique visitor is a distinct person (by device/IP) in the selected period. If you have 1,000 views but 400 visitors, on average each person checked your page 2.5 times.
Referrer sources
This is the most actionable metric: it tells you which platform sent each visitor — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Google, or a direct open. Put your page link everywhere, then double down on the platform that actually sends engaged visitors.
Link clicks
Every outbound link is tracked individually. Views-to-click rate below ~30% usually means your first link is weak or your descriptions are missing.
Locations and devices
Locations help you schedule posts and pick languages. Device split tells you how aggressively to optimize for mobile — for most creators it is 65–80% mobile.
